Upon the irrigation system loosing pressure due
to power outages etc., recuperator leaps in to action and safely
recharges the system using a predetermined recharge method and rate.
Recuperator takes into account the time and pressure sensitivity of
destructive water hammer by strategically opening heads at high
elevation points and at the ends of main pipe runs. These relief points
ensure any trapped air escapes the system under a velocity controlled
safe pressure. Only CleverControl has the unique ability to synchronize
the pump station and the irrigation heads. Other systems attempt to
restart the pump station while most often the irrigation system is in
full demand, this method causes premature wear on the pumps, motors,
VFD, plumbing, and frequently causes leaks in the irrigation system due to relieving
air at high velocities. With Recuperator, the software senses when the
system is fully recharged, then closes all relief points and seamlessly
restarts the irrigation cycle at the point it was interrupted, all with
no loss of the irrigation cycle.
